Al Zorah's Ajman resort construction contract in October
Al Zorah Development, a joint venture between Lebanese developer Solidere and the government of Ajman, UAE, will issue main construction tender worth 350-400 million dirhams ($95-108.90 million) for a five-star resort in Ajman in October, 2016, the company's chief executive told Zawya Projects.
"The project is fully funded and owned by us," Imad Dana said.
The 193-key LUX *Al Zorah has been designed by Kuala Lumpur-based architect Jean-Michel Gathy.
Besix has been awarded the enabling works contract.
The resort is part of the 5.4 million square metres Al Zorah mixed-use master development located on the coastline of Ajman. Infrastructure works have been completed for the two billion dirham ($544 million) Phase 1 of the development.
